Crack stitching is a method of repairing cracked brickwork. This is done by stabilising the damaged walls with helical bars in-between the joints and injecting it with resin and mortar to hide the bar into the brickwork. Other methods of brickwork repair such as just using resin or mortar to fill the crack, can also be used for less severe cracks. Crack stitching is very effective, and successful method of repairing, and stabilising cracked brickwork, while also being non-invasive. The process of filling in the cut slots with dyed mortar helps to hide the repair.
